The Jay Barton Invitational II

A weekend of golf hosted by Lee and Sally Barton
with their daughters, Sarah and Tricia

The beauty of Pebble Beach and the Monterey Peninsula must be seen in person to truly appreciate the splendor. We have many friends that have asked us about Pebble Beach and expressed their desire to visit and play this beautiful meeting of land and sea.

We decided to put together this golf outing on two of the most special courses in the country, Pebble Beach and Spanish Bay. This is not just golf, however. This is a golf invitational in memory of our son, Jay. Our hope is to raise money to donate to Not One More Alabama in his honor.

Pebble Beach has always been special to our family. You’re a part of this weekend because you are an important part of our lives and we are overjoyed to share these next few days together.

Thursday, March 7th

We’re so glad you’re here!

Once you’ve arrived, please head to the main board room to pick up your itinerary and a gift from your hosts!

Welcome Party

Please join us on the lawn of The Sanctuary at 5pm for drinks and heavy hors devours. We know you’ve been traveling - the attire is casual to cocktail and we know you’ll look fabulous!

Friday, March 8th —

Golf Begins

Tee times will begin at roughly 8am PST. Those who are not playing golf are welcome to walk the course, see the grounds of The Lodge at Pebble Beach and Spanish Bay, or perhaps book an appointment at the spa.

There are wonderful shops and restaurants within the beautiful town of Carmel as well as within the grounds of the resort.

Please enjoy Friday evening to plan dinner at your leisure.

Pictured are our three children in front of our favorite bay-area restaurant, Scomas! The 2+ hour drive from Pebble Beach is worth the tartar sauce alone.

Jay sunk a 20 foot putt on the 18th green at Pebble Beach in 1996. He was just 10 years old when he first played this beautiful course.

Saturday, March 5th —

Golf Continues

Tee times will begin again at 8:40am.

Dinner

We invite you to a beautiful dinner in the Main Ballroom at Spanish Bay to close out the weekend together. A few words from your hosts and some wonderful awards will be handed out before we say farewell.

Attire: Cocktail

Thank you —

Our family has truly been humbled by the outpouring of support and love we have received for this event. We have always known that we were rich in friendships, but to share these days with you in one of our favorite places is something we can hardly put into words. Thank you for continuing to support us in our efforts to raise awareness and knowledge surrounding the disease of addiction and for honoring our beautiful son, Jay.
